PROJECT 1 :

1. Lecture Week 3 :

    After our two weeks of learning collage, we were assigned to design 3 collage to later be shown by Mr. Fauzi. During our week three, we began to consult to Mr. Fauzi regarding our designs and also receiving feedbacks before finalizing our work. After our work was assessed, we can continue gluing our cut-out pieces and stick them together as how we pictured it. 

Final Outcome :

This design of collage was my final outcome, I started of with the idea of the word "Timeless". At first, my design was just a clock without the lion, but after receiving feedback from Mr. Fauzi, he suggested that I add something in order to not make it look so plain. As a result, this was the final look of my collage assignment.

2. Lecture Week 4 :

    Lecture week 4 was held online, it was the lesson on how to start our digital collage. Mr. Fauzi also did tutorial on his screen to visually show us on how we can create our own digital collage, he showed us the tools necessary such as, the pen tool, magic wand, and the marquee tool. Although it might be a little confusing for me in the start, with the help from the recorded lecture Mr. Fauzi gave us, I was able to do it successfully until the end. For that week assignment, we were given the time to compose 3 digital design with limited pictures that we were given.

Lecture Week 5 :

    From our week 5 lecture, Mr. Fauzi showed us a quick tutorial on how to use the adjustment layers in Photoshop to edit our collage. After that, he assigned us to use the tools he showed to us to edit our best (final) composition we have made. With that, we learned the new tools like adjustments, ex. brightness, contrast, hue / saturation, cure, posterize and many more.

Lecture week 5

    During our lecture week 5 which was held online, Mr. Fauzi explained and demonstrated us our next given assignment, digital imaging, hearst mansion. In this work, we played around with brush tool, adjustments, blur, pen tool, and layers. We were told to do both with the Shazam character, and our own picture.

4. Lecture week 6

    In this online class on week 6, we were introduced to brushes that enables recoloring black and white colored photos into colored ones. Mr. Fauzi did a quick demonstration on both exercise, and also left us 2 pre-recorded video demonstration on how to do this task step by step.

    In the second exercise, instead of using the brush tool to just color in, we used photo reference for colors, and the selection brush tool to layer mask. We even played around with adjustments and blending mode.
