1. LECTURES

Week 10 - 14 :
    As we were assigned to our new project (project 4), Mr. Fauzi uploaded the instruction to Google classroom. He also gave feedbacks and online consultation in Teams meeting.

2. INSTRUCTIONS

    PROJECT 4: SELF-TITLED [30%]

    - Timeframe: WEEK 10 - WEEK 14
    - Duration: 15 second
    - Output: .MOV or .MP4 less than 20MB
    - Size: 1080 x 1920 px (I.G reel/ story size)

    - Idea Development: 5 marks (WEEK 10)
    - Design Direction: 5 marks (WEEK 11)

    - Execution and Post Production: 10 marks (WEEK 12)
    - Animation & Finishing: 10 marks (WEEK 13)

    - Submission: WEEK 14

3. PROCESS WORK

    3.1 Progress


    One of the photograph I took of myself was the picture of my back facing the mirror. However, I replaced my reflection into another picture.


    As I finished placing all my background photo, I started to illustrate my own drawing (flowers) and move it to Photoshop to animate it in After Effects.


    After done with all the layering in Photoshop, I then moved the files to Illustrator and start animating certain layers / objects.

4. FEEBACK

General feedback : Create a poster with our own portrait photo and edit in Photoshop and After effects afterwards. 

Personal feedback : As I came up with 3 mood board as my references, Mr. Fauzi told be that we don't need to use many layers and allowed me to proceed the mirror reflection idea.
5. REFLECTION

Experience : 
    During the process of this DPI task, I was able to creatively illustrate for the design of my poster, although I had fun creating illustrations, I may have struggled a little in the After effects. Having not use to its complexity, I had to research further from lecture videos and also You tube.

Observations :
    As I continued working on this task, I realized that I still need to put a lot more effort and understanding with how to work on After effects. Seeing how complex it could be did gave me quite a while to finally get things right. However, that allowed to experience a little around After Effects.
    
Findings :
    I find this task overall to be fun and confusing at the same time. In conclusion, I was able to pick up many great experiences throughout working on this project. Not only that, it also help me to learn to slowly be a lot more consistent in working on something.
