1. CLASS SUMMARY
During our 2nd week, we started a new exercise. Although I was confused with the L.A.T.C.H project, after looking through senior works and the presentation from Mr. Fauzi, I was able to slowly understand what we are suppose to do. I consulted my ideas in class and was approve where I can proceed my ideas.

3.1 Research :
During my work sketch, I suddenly got an idea like the picture shown above. My first initial sketch was some what like an investigation board where different genres of films be divided by the pin color, and will be placed based on lowest to highest movie rate. However, my sketch shifted as I kept playing around with trying other ideas as the previous one was not as special. I decided to go with the idea of lily pads as my movie recommendation poster.
3.2 Ideation :
Initial sketches :
These are the sketches I made before finalizing the last sketch to later be used for my movie recommendation poster. As the lily pad idea require many spaces for its synopsis, I was only able to put in 5 movie option.
Sketch progress :
For the poster title, I came up with the idea of a fish to replace to word "o" as it is located in a pond. After I have made a circle, I started to cut a triangle shape on its end to form the look of a lily pad.
Final sketch :
For my final sketch, I used the eclipse tool to create an even size to all the scattered lily pad. I also played around with colors. After I have all the options of colors, I also used the transparent tool to help me create shadow and gradient easier.
3.3 Final outcome :
4. REFLECTION
Experience :
During my poster work, I learned the importance of sketching out our work first before straight away working on our final. This way, I was able to have a look between the 2 ideas I have roughly sketched, which then allowed me to choose which one I want to take for my final idea.
Observations :
I realized how helpful it was to go through over and over with the presentation given by our lecturer in order to gain a better understanding about our task. As the beginning process of this exercise really confused me, I tried going over through previous works and lectures. This way, I was able to work on with my project better.
Findings :
Although I finished off this work near to its due date, I realized how effective things are when we do our project little by little. Not only will we not rush into our work but also a more satisfying result.
