The Three Structures

The three act structure is a narrative model that divides stories into three parts — Act One, Act Two, and Act Three, or rather, a beginning, middle, and end.

What does the three act story structure consist of ?

  • Act 1 — Setup
  • Act 2 — Confrontation
  • Act 3 — Resolution

The basics of three act structure:

5. REFLECTION

Experience :
During the process on the project 1, Audio dubbing, I was able to understand a lot better on how to use Adobe Premiere. I had fun in finishing this project, especially editing our sounds to fit the actual video. Although it was a little tricky to find the most accurate background sound / noise, but as i continued exploring, I also may end up with a couple of choices. Since there were more thank one actor in the video, we had to use the effect controls.

Observations :
It was important to pay attention to the volume and the effect control used. As I repeatedly play the video with my voice in it, some parts may start to sound inconsistent to the others. As I play the video, I also play around with the pitch after finally setting with a good one.

Findings :
Although Premiere pro may look tricky due to the many settings it have, I was mostly enjoying the process on working with it. Through the many projects and exercise using Premiere pro, I was able to gradually understand better the feature and settings needed when working on Adobe Premiere pro.
